Company history

Münch GmbH was founded on 5th March 1983 as MWS Münch Werkzug-Systeme GmbH (Münch Tool Systems) in Fürth/Odenwald.

The founders, Manfred and Renate Münch, along with a master tool-maker and two trainees manufactured tools and assemblies for the processing of thermo-plastics, as well as punching and curving tools for metal processing.

As our company grew, so did our product range. Today our company is known not just for tool-making, but for the development, forming, and manufacture of non-standard and standard components made from non-ferrous metals, steel and plastics, complex assemblies and finished products. We have also produced another business line for our company in the form of our own developments – the cup box, solar house numbers, soap dispensers either for the wholesale or retail trade and fresh flake rollers.

From 1993 we manufactured in our family-owned office and factory building in Bensheim. As our volumes grew, we opened in 1995 a further production and assembly plant in Ostrov in the Czech Republic which we manage from Bensheim. Our customers have at their disposal a strong team of 76 people with technical, commercial and specialist practical know-how. Using these skills we have created the ideal conditions to meet our customers’ most demanding requirements for high-quality products in the shortest possible time.
